ABOUT ME
I am a career counselor, transition coach, and a dedicated emotional intelligence practitioner and trainer. I help people like YOU to find, launch, and sustain meaningful careers.
The big event that changed my life.
Back in 2017, I got laid off from a job I loved.
The irony? I was a career counselor specializing in helping employees after layoffs.
As I began my journey toward re-employment, I began recording my emotions, thoughts, and questions on my voice recorder while I was on my daily walks. These unscripted recordings became a podcast, “The Journey Forward.”
I followed my own advice.
And it worked! I applied for 3 jobs and got 2 great offers. I started my new full-time job 3 months after my layoff.
I know the struggle that comes with indecision and feeling like you don’t fit in.
The struggle of finding the right career path that looks and feels like YOU.
Where your talents and personality shine!
Proclaiming, This is who I am, what I do, who I do it for, and why it matters can be challenging…even scary. It requires courage and vulnerability to make this choice.
I’m here to give you permission to be your authentic self. And together, we’ll build something amazing!
“I’m here to give you permission to be your authentic self. And together, we’ll build something amazing!”
“I’m here to give you permission to be your authentic self. And together, we’ll build something amazing!”
“I learned my lesson the hard way, but you don’t have to. You can choose to grow before you’re forced to.”
I work with people in transition.
Why? Because it’s better to be uncertain where you are than to be certain you’re in the wrong place. You don’t have all the answers right now, and that’s ok. All you need to do is move away from what’s not working in order to begin to gain clarity on what will work.
I’m no cookie-cutter. And neither are you.
I’m a birth-right Quaker, raised on a farm. From a young age, I knew there was more than my small village had to offer, and I dreamed of far-away people and places. I began traveling as soon as I was able. A study abroad in France, backpacking in Europe, and a 3-month stint in Brazil.
I moved to Seoul, South Korea straight out of college, living and working in that bustling metropolis for 6 years. 45+ countries later, I’ve discovered…
…everyone is one of a kind. Unique. We all want to be seen, heard, understood.
My process brings out your brilliance and puts it center stage.
This process I’ve developed begins with a deep level of insight into who you are. I use psychometric assessments (Myers-Briggs, CliftonStrengths, DiSC), and I also approach each session with you in mind, along with your specific concerns and goals.
I’ll create a safe, relaxed haven where you’ll be accepted and celebrated for who you are. No judgment – just openness and compassion.
